call reception to book a consultation with one of our vets. They will advise you if one is needed to aid in the diagnosis of a condition.

Radiography (X-Ray)

We offer an in-house digital radiographic service. We can access the images on the spot and can get a diagnosis for your pet immediately. For most x-rays, no anaesthetic is needed, making the process quite simple and quick. These types of scans are useful for diagnosing:

  • Eye, skin & ear problems
  • Old dog incontinence
  • Arthritic diagnosis
  • Behavioural problems
  • General malaise or sickness
  • Dental problems
  • Injuries
  • Pregnancy concerns

If the medical issue cannot be seen through x-rays, your veterinarian may recommend other types of imaging.

Clinical Pathology THE CREW

At BVH, our facilities include a specialised state-of-the-art veterinary blood analyser for instant results. As a result, many common tests can be completed in-house, for faster results. We also have access to several external laboratories for more complex testing. We offer a complete range of diagnostic testing, tailored to your pet needs.

Our vets have taken blood tests hundreds of times, so you can trust they'll keep your pet calm and get it done as fast as possible.
